I grew up in McDowell County and from a cultural standpoint, it is certainly southern in iden.y. I have often retorted that it is both the northernmost southern state and the southernmost northern state because we do have such a blended iden.y. Ideologically, I feel that we fall into a northern perspective on the whole..Louisiana is obviously southern, but’s an odd mix of standard black white American southern, cajun creole culture, and upper southern mixed into it. Arkansas Then you start getting into the upper southern culture which is southern but with influence from non southern factors..So parts of Va being southern and country cancels it out making it less southern and country? I guess that would also apply to Florida, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, and other southern states with areas that are not so southern or country.. I will be graduating with myociate’s in psychology from a community college in a couple of months. For financial and lack of transportation reasons, I want to transfer to an online college to pursue my bachelor’s so I’ve been considering SNHU. I’ve seen some good reviews but I’ve also seen some pretty bad reviews aboutpy and unhelpful staff members, issues with discriminatory behavior .
